Daily rainfall through June 22.  Western Liaoning - Rainfall was insufficient from mid-April throught mid-June.  Above-normal rain in June eased the drought but there is still a rainfall deficit of 30 to 40 mm. 

 

Near normal rainfall was reported in Shenyang, central Liaoning.  Crops were planted late but did not suffer from drought or other weather problems.  Current conditions are favorable. Temperatures in Liaoning were cooler than normal in April, but mild in May.
