The share of Class-6 wheat in Ukraine in 2008/09 was 51 percent, compared to only 20 percent in 2007/08 and the 10-year average of 38 percent.  Grain quality tends to be lower in years of high yield.

Classes 1 through 3 are typically considered food wheat,

and classes 4 through 6 are considered feed wheat.
