Satellite-derived vegetative indices (NDVI) indicate better-than-average conditions for Ukraine winter crops during the last week in November, as crops in many areas were entering dormancy. Below-average NDVI were limited to a small portion of south-central Ukraine, mostly in Kirovograd oblast.
